Abstract

|
In congenital biliary atresia, the bile acids that are essential for intestinal absorption of Vit-D are inadequate, and therefore, rickets can be associated.
Pathologic fractures can complicate in this disorder, at variable states.
We experienced the pathologic fractures. Which were occurred at proximal femur and midshaft of tibia in patients with congenital biliary atresia. So we are reporting the case with a review of the literatures.
